Infrastructure Considerations
Our custom solution pricing takes the following into consideration, for example:How many people will be using the system How many computers (desktops and laptops) need support How many servers are in use How many network devices (like firewalls, switches, and routers) are involved How many software licenses are required How many other devices (like phones, tablets, and printers) are connected to the network Any other devices
Process and Practice Considerations
There are also other important considerations, for example:What security measures and regulations do you need to follow? How complex are your systems, and what kind of technical expertise is needed to manage them? Do you have an in-house IT team, or will you need external support? Do you have employees working from home, in branch offices, or on the go? Do you allow employees to use their personal devices (like laptops or smartphones) for work? Where are your servers located - on-site, in the cloud, or a combination of both?
Why is pricing not listed?
A reputable IT services provider won't offer a one-size-fits-all price. Instead, they'll assess your unique infrastructure and needs, providing a customized quote that reflects your specific requirements and ensures you only pay for what you need.
Why not a break-fix model? I only want IT support when I need it:
The break-fix approach may seem appealing, but it can be a recipe for disaster. When you only pay for IT support as needed, the provider has no incentive to prevent problems from arising in the first place. In fact, their revenue depends on your systems failing, which can lead to costly and time-consuming repairs. Without proactive monitoring, issues can spiral out of control, putting your business at risk of devastating technical failures or cybercrime incidents. By the time you notice something is wrong, it may be too late, and the damage could be irreparable. This approach can expose your business to unacceptable levels of risk, making it a flawed strategy for managing your IT needs.
